At Āhua, we believe exercise is the elixir of life, especially when performed correctly. Our space is about more than pilates; we deliver evidence based workouts designed by our director and physiotherapist Elise Badger to ensure safe and efficient workouts that build strength and longevity without the injury risk. Whether you are returning to your practice or seeking a new perspective on exercise, our Open Day is the perfect opportunity to experience the difference.

The Schedule
We are running our signature full body longevity workout class ReFIIT (Reformer Functional Intensive Interval Training) on the hour from 6am until 11am on Saturday 31 January 2026.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to greet your teacher and set up for class.

Experience our signature classes in an intimate setting. We have added extra sessions and instructors to our Saturday schedule to ensure every guest receives personalised support.

Common Questions
Is it suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. Our Open Day is designed to be a welcoming entry point for all levels. Plus with our small group numbers, every class is personalised coaching and not like your average studio.
What should I bring?
Simply yourself and your preferred movement attire including a drink bottle, small sweat towel and workout shoes.
What if I have never done it before?
Everyone is a beginner at some point and we are experts at supporting those new to reformer pilates and functional fitness to find their safe level of work.
Can I bring a friend?
Movement is always better with a buddy, bring a friend along for the the price of a coffee and a half.
Is there parking on-site?
We don't have on-site parking but there is ample street parking nearby.
How do I find the studio?
Walk down the laneway that comes off Commerce St, we are the black warehouse opposite Cambridge Glass.
What if I have injuries?
If you have injuries or issues you think we should know about, be sure to declare them in your health questions when you sign up, arrive 15 minutes early to speak with Elise our physiotherapist and director who will be on-site all open day.
